Rees just took too many shots - far more damage done by kotelnik. Not suprising really. Good result - well for my bank balance anyway.

I was complimenting your timing on placing the bet, not consoling you because of your great loss...

This was the best fight of Kotelnik so far... and the most exciting... great performance, hard, accurate punches, but before the "hype job" and these thing are coming:

BIG PROPS to Rees as well, he foght hard, threw a lot of punches, took a lot of hard punches, he made Kotelnik fight a great fight... Keep on Gavin!

Great job Kotelnik, after the close fight with Witter and the controversial losses to M'Baye, we have a new and deserved champion!

Great fight, Rees showed some serious heart, but he also showed the limitations most people thought he had. I hate saying it, but I agree with Bunce, I don't think that fight was really that close. Rees took a beating from round 3 onwards.

2 judges had rees down by 3 and the other had him down by 5 going into last round

Did I hear, that one judge had Rees ahead by one point? Lol...

107:102 Kotelnik would be ok for me, but in no way more than 3 rounds for Rees

I think a rematch would be even more of a slaughter...

I had it 7 rounds to kotelnik 4 to rees going into the 12th, i though rees was ahead after round 6 and then lost every round after that.
