Many are worried about a fair judging and refering in the may 26th fight between Carl Froch and Lucian Bute.

The IBF confirmed to me the name of the ref and of the judges: The referree will be Earl Brown from New Jersey. The judges will be Benoit Roussel from québec, howard Foster from UK and Steve Weisfeld from US.

Mr. Brown ref in 13 championship bouts. He was the third man in the ring in the Froch and Johnson fight.

Mr. Weisfeld worked in the last Dawson vs Hopkins fight, he wasnt the judge who scored it a draw. Mr Roussel is a known figure in Bute's fight, he did scored the last 4 of them. In the same way, Mr. Foster knows Carl Froch since he scored in a couple of his fights as well.

If we considered the US judge from a neutral country, we can conclude that this appear to be a neutral set of judges and referee.

"we can conclude a neutral set..."

They are certainly NOT neutral.... if anything the best we can hope for with this set of officials is that the bias is balanced. Because there's a definite chance that they are biased.

The key here is to see on what biased side the American judge will be :? Or will he be neutral and score it as it is....

This. They needed 3 outside judges.

The only thing missing is Ray's idol SNV as the Russian-speaking color commentator.:deal

All human being are bias. In this particular case, the bias are spread so no fighter should be favored over the other.
