Needs to be Jay Nady. Hopkins fights just like John Ruiz now. Way too much clinching, grabbing, holding, wrestling, etc.
I didn't have a problem with the way Hopkins fought Shumenov. But that's just me. He's 49, and for 49 I thought he fought brilliantly.
Not really receiving benefits for his age, he's just not athletic anymore. He's not as physically-able as he used to be. So he adapted to what he's capable of now. That takes a high ring IQ, to be relatively physically diminished and still outsmart your opponent to a win.

It was Steve Smoger, who is a friend of Bernard's. Hopkins will no doubt want a nationalistic American ref like Smoger to permit him to head butt and use other illegal tactics like arm-clamping. Kovalev will likely be fighting two men.
