No, but if Kirkland ever gets a world title shot, his camp NEEDS to insist on Steve Smoger as the ref. Smoger would likely be slow to stop the fight if Kirkland goes down early, which would give Kirkland's awesome stamina a chance to see him through the storm and come back a la Angulo. A skittish ref might stop things too early for him.
