If Brock's eyes had rolled back in his head at any point or something like that we could talk about irresponsible officiating.

As it is, we saw pretty typical MMA punching and pretty typical MMA storm-weathering.

 

damn seems a lot of people are bent outta shape over the fight not being stopped over at sherdog, after the first round i was SHOCKED that they didnt stop it but just the fact Brock came back to win shows that no foul was done and it was the right call to give the champ time to recover.

The only shots i thought Carwin really thought about were the uppercuts threw Lesnars guard. Which he caught on to very quick, after that everything was pretty much dead weight on the punches. I'm not a lesnar fan but you have to appreciate the way he came back from that beating.

 

A few smart well placed punches is just as effective, if not more, than just firing at will, hoping you get a few inside a guard. Carwin should've realized that Lesnar wasn't getting hurt with those punches, enough to warrant the risk of exhausting yourself.
