Was it a low blow? Yes. But I'm sorry, that was some BS by the ref. It looked like he was wasting as much time as possible. At the end he points at the corner and yells at Whyte to stay in it, but he was already there.

Not saying Rivas would have KO'd him, but that was BS.

Props to Whyte because he was tired and could have easily faked pain from the low blow to end the fight.

Absolutely. I think Eddie told the ref he should rewatch Jennings vs. Rivas and should take as much time as possible out of the last round. First he's checking both fighters shorts (LMAO!!!) immediately after the bell starts the last round, then he gave some BS warnings. Eddie probably gave the ref a smile after R11 to remember him he should slow down the fight.

Matchroom is simply a crooked house full of ****. Same for Warren and his shows.

Shame that Rivas eye was closed from R9 and he couldn't go for the finish.

I noticed that too.... shady AF..... he was milking the clock.... I'm seeing a same pattern with Matchroom fights.... AJ/Parker comes to mind... remember what the ref was doing

    Yeah. It was blatant.
I gave round 12 to Rivas. Thought he won that one quite clearly.
It was a dead close fight whatever anyone says.

He gave Rivas an extended lecture which makes sense early on when you’re sitting a precedent for how you want the fighters to conduct themselves. Him doing it in the last 15 seconds of the fight with the opponent hurt was nothing short of disgraceful and blatantly corrupt.

I thought it was just me being cynical because I was backing Rivas, but the time wasting in the 12th was comical. There was a moment when the ref brought them both in for a quick clean fight lecture too. Hearn is a scumbag, no different to the others.
