Last too fights I saw him in, Barrera v Marquez, and the Katsidis v the Phillipino Guy! Just thought he was absolutely **** in both fights, missed a knockdown in both fights and generally didnt seem competant, now I know there are some who will say, "hes great" and he may have been, but lately hes been ****ing shite!:twisted:
They should **** him off right now. Had he jumped in as soon as MAB put JMM down, then it would have been 10-8 MAB round. Barrera clearly waited for a couple of seconds before hitting Marquez again, Nady should never ref another world title fight ever again.
I have really disliked him since the Rahman/Maskaev II where you heard him screaming "stop holding" 1,000 times at Oleg when EVERYONE all commentators included felt it wasn't the case.
Not sure about that, I think MAB was just being a naughty boy with that shot and deservedly got punished for it.
Nady is a terrible ref in my opinion. The **** sheet I have on him is too long to mention in much detail.
I'd take Cole these days over Nady. The Maskeav/Rahman fight and the Marquez/Barrera fights have soured him on me forever.
I think MAB did wait for the ref to jump in and call the knockdown slightly, but it was a bit naughty anyway as JMM was down. Regardless, i think we can agree he shouldnt have discounted the KD for that, JMM had clearly already touched down BEFORE MAB took that shot at him.
In all fairness to Nady he did go on record and admit that he blew the call for MAB vs JMM knockdown. A lot of us talk **** about refs but like in most Sports it's a difficult and stressful type of job trying to get EVERYTHING right and not **** anybody off.
