I don't like to criticize refs. They have an extremely difficult job. Things can happen very quickly in the boxing ring and important decisions have to be made in split seconds. Some guys are good at it and some not so. What the hell. If a ref needs criticism then why not. Russell Mora did a terrible job in the Mares Agbeko fight in failing to act on the continuous and numerous low blows landed by Mares which was on par with Salido Lomachenko. He really should have been put out to pasture after that performance but he was given another chance today to ruin another hopefuls career and have an effect on his future earnings. Fonseca was hit in the back of the head then pushed down. At the very least Mora should have applied the ''no foul'' rule and taken a point from Davis which could have brought Fons right back in the fight and given him a real chance at winning a title and some decent pay days. Maybe he'd make a better UFC ref and he would do well to bring Lawrence Cole along with him.

I've been rabitpunched liked that (harder I would say, but only maybe because when you receive the hit it is always harder XD) and that hurts as F. It makes you instantly dizzy. So yes, I understand fonseca.

Having said that, I honestly think that fonseca wanted a way out.

Having said that, I agree with you. This is not the way a referee should deal with a foul like that.
