It was a good stoppage. Dereck was out on his feet. His balance was gone and he would have taken more punishment...

This isn't the 1930's... Fighters no longer have to be out stone cold for the fight to end.

Quick stoppage I agree, would he have survived the round didnt get a good enough look at him to make that call, what I will say is I believe the ref also cut the 3rd round short, the moment that Chisora started bombing on Haye

Exactly. The manner in which Chisora went down the second time(arms flailing) was indicative that if he would have continued he would have more than likely been knocked out cold and they would have been resuscitating him in the ring.
