Looked to me like it should've been stopped. If not by the ref then certainly by the corner.

That's ref Mitch Halpern right there. He had a habit of letting fights go on a little too long. I know that a boxer died on his watch once.

I don't mean to fan the flames but a deaf person could hear those thudding blows seriously sound unnatural. Before anyone has a period, let me stress im a Tito fan..............

yeah it should have been stopped, and I think Charles Barkley would agree.

No need to stop that - he got his legs back and finished the round with weight in his punches and the ability to defend himself.

Incidentally Tito LOOKED like a robot in the last round throwing a million hooks for no result. Unless he was trying to just bludgeon him through his glove which is ok by me

Amazing what illegal handwraps can do for you. Reid was outboxing Trinidud fairly easily through 7 rounds until he got bored/relaxed and got caught. Reid would have taken it in a rematch, but of course Trinidud chose to move up in weight and we all know how that turned out. Trinidud ended up taking one of the most horrific beating we've seen in the last 20 years.

Maybe. But wraps won't help his technique. That's one beautiful left hook

of course. all you have to do is look at the man's eye, which ended up ending reid's career. he was taking a beating. now he showed a little life at the end with that flurry but then right before the bell, he goes down a third time. reid had enough. at 14 pro fights, he shouldnt have been in the ring with trinidad in the first place.

you guys also have to understand that Reid suffered from that horrible eye disease that was the major factor in his downfall.

I box and clearly understand the wrapping issue. You cant layer gauze, tape, gauze, tape until your hand is a brick. Cheating is cheating. You must follow the rules. That was a ***** move by trinidad.
