He clearly didnt want anymore from Trinidad! It should have been stopped in the 11th round.

Bad decision to fight this fight for reids people. He had tremendous potential but was too green for this fight. It really ruined him.

Agreed, but not to the same extent. Vargas was more ready for trinadad than read was. He had already beaten Ike quartey and if I'm not mistaken winky wright (I think before trinadad). Vargas also had some decent showings after the trinadad fight. David reed wasn't ready for the beast trinadad. Speaking of trinadad, I always wanted to see him fight terry norris back when norris ruled 154 and trinadad 147.

For a so called boxer you dont know rules really well. It was illegal only in NY. Even Hops trainer Nazeem said it. If this fight were in Vegas it would had been a go. No one was fined or susppened. I dont call it cheating. You just a hater. :hi:

Every time I see Trinidad's fights I wonder about those hand wraps he used.

David Reid was the champion defending his belt, he was as ready as he was going to be to fight tito. Once you're champion you must be ready to take all comers, or you just going to hold on to the belt fighting bums cause you're still learning. That's not how it works, beside even reids people knew that because of his eye his career was going to be a short one so they wanted to cash is as quick.
