Alright i need your guys opinion on this training method. i recently read the biography of Mike Tyson/Cus d'amato and Mike said he used this training method: Cus would record a tape of him screaming numbers and combinations. Mike would perform them in shadowboxing. Here is a example: '1, 2' Mike would make a jab and straight. they had a whole alfabet and they perform make different combinations...

Do you guys think this method works for reflex training?

If you have any experience with this training method i would like to know!

I guess so. One of my coaches did something similar to that. He'd line us up shoulder to shoulder, make sure we had enough space between us then he would stand in front of us. If he pointed in a certain direction we would have to shuffle correctly in that direction. If he squatted we had to squat as soon as he did. If he jumped we had to jump. We had to do everything quickly. Sometimes he would use a coach's whistle; one blast on the whistle: fighting advance. Two blasts on the whistle: fighting withdrawal. Point shuffle laterally to the direction he pointed.
