Isn't it a nice change of pace.

Very good fight plan executed by Cintron and a deserved victory. I had it 115-113.

Agreed, though I'd more say 116-112 is more like it.

My 2 thoughts on this fight:

    1. Kermit looked a hell of a lot better physically than he did against Martinez, in which I thought his body looked a little shitty, this time you could tell he'd had the proper time to add muscle and get into 154 properly. Also, he boxed really well, and I kind of wondered weather he'd fall apart after 7 or 8 rounds? But he did well, and congrats.

    2. Mad props to Angulo for taking on a 30-2 fighter with 27 KO's at this early stage in his career. He did himself well enough to be proud, and he and his fans have no shame on this. Took big BALLS to take on Cintron this early in his run. Kudos to Angulo!

NOW!! Let's see the bomb fest of Berto vs. Urango! See ya'll after that's over!!

I was thinking the same thing. It does feel a little strange to see the fighter who isn't the hbo-house fighter get a close decision.
