The layoff didn't mean **** to Floyd, except that he didn't have to face Mosely, Cotto, Margo, PW, Clottey etc. PAul Williams is the man and will fight any of these fools

As you can see by my other posts, I am clearly not a Floyd nuthugger. I was impressed by Floyds skills and believe he is probably the best boxer in the division. Would I like to see him face the CURRENT top welters, **** YES! Do I think he acts like a little *****? YES! Does he need to man up and fight the best to PROVE he is the best? YES!

But I still think he's the best..

It's true that Floyd is the best boxer this era has produced and I do see why many root against him......but you can't deny this kind of talent. Yea.....Floyd dominated and outboxed JMM......had an easier time than PAC. But taking everyting into consideration....JMM was not a WW....he's not even a Jr WW. To have him face Floyd I KNEW was a mis-match. And it proved true.

Style make fights! That's something fans of the sport should know. DLH and hatton had very good success in their fights with Floyd.....Those same foes who did well with Floyd couldn't do anything with Manny. It's hard to say that since Manny KO'd both and did so in a much easier fashion that he'd have no problems with Floyd and the same goes with how Floyd dominated JMM.....you can't say he'll have an easy time with PAC b/c of that one performance.

Floyd's path has been questioned and for good reason. His moves especailly at WW have been very calculated...to the point where the critisim takes on a life of its own...but that's his fault. He's really only faced one true WW and that was Baldo.....Zab was a Jr WW who knew he had the attributes and speed to beat the reinging 147 lb champ in Spinks but in my opinion he was always a jr WW.

Floyd is truly a great boxer but his resume is not great. there are unfair comments about Floyd but there are also many points that hold substance. PAC gets the same kind of unfair critisim that Floyd does but PAC has more substance behind his resume than Mayweather so its far easier to defend manny.

I have no problems with the fact that Floyd picked Marquez in his return from the longlayoff.....But let's not act like he fought the guy on equal terms. Also, to me he has a lot to prove as he has been the man at welter for some time, but yet conveniently has not fought any of the best the division has to offer, then retired when it seemed he had no options but to fight these guys. Call it what you will...overprotective of his "0", high risk/low reward......a case of money not making sense. I don't know. I just want to see this awesome boxer fight the best out there.

Floyd is a welterweight who, instead of fighting other welterweights like Cotto, SSM, or Margarito-- fought Ricky Hatton and JMM. His skills are overrated, his career is pathetic, his resume is a joke, and his fans are ******ed.

it is not that he beat marquez, hatton, judah, baldo, corrales, gatti, ODH, manfredy, chavez, hernandez JCC etc etc etc...it is HOW he beats them...not close...he has had 2 close fights out of 40 and any ww out there would not be close....mosely cotto are no match for his skill...I think he beats PW easy to although that would be his toughest fight and give him the most cred....I would like to see him fight mosely berto winner then PW after he beats pac
