Exactly, the same bombs that he threw at Golota. Klitschko was smarter the 2nd time around, as would Golota.
Most of the people involved in boxing are delusional, and Brewster is no exception. As a matter of fact he is probably worse than most of them. Did you hear him complain about the German fans throwing things at him after he quit on his stool? These people are boxing fans, and they expect to see a fight. Brewster has no fan base stateside, and lost his following in Germany. Just who the hell is going to buy tickets to watch him quit on his stool again?
i was just curious to see if you had any excuse for that defeat. another question for you, do you think you could go a post without using a smiley?
seeing as how wlad was beating the **** out of him the first time before being stopped, and then took his time and took him apart in the rematch... until brewster takes out someone of note i have no desire to see a third fight. These are the only fights i want to see for wlad Chagaev Sultan Peter/Maskaev winner maybe Valuev as its still a good fight....
Wladimir vs. Chagaev is the best fight in the division that can be made at the moment, which isn't saying much. I just don't see Peter ever catching Wladimir again at such a vulnerable time, and he got his ears boxed off even then. I'd love to see Wladimir vs. Valuev, just to see the big man hit the deck.
Brewster was always just an average fighter with a good punch and good enthusiasm. He could sometimes explode into action and KO some good fighters, but he´d usually get outboxed against top level fighters. He was really lucky to win against Wlad the first time. I don´t know if Wlad was drugged or ill or just fatigued himself with anxiety, but he was showing himself to be totally superior to Brewster for the first 4 rounds. Brewster then lost to Kali Meehan and got a gift decision. Then he blitzed Golota and KOed him, which was possibly lucky, but possibly not. Either way I doubt he would have been able to outbox Golota had the blitz failed, although he might have scored a late KO. In Brewster´s fight agains Karsniqi, who is not that special, he was outboxed for most of the fight, until he scored a KO. Brewster then lost a competitive fight against Liakhovich, who is not that great a boxer. Brewster also had losses against Shufford and Etienne earlier in his career. These two were never much.
Brewster in the first fight took alot of punishment to win, he took Wlads best shots and was able to land his and knock him out. As far as Wlad being drugged its so not true, Wlad before that had a reputation of gassing out, watch him early on against Ray Mercer, the HBO commentators were saying how blue his face was during the 3rd round. As far as Brewster not hurting Wlad in there first fight, he actually won the 3rd round on the Ledderman scorecard, he landed a jab that made Wlads legs buckle and made him hold on to Brewster until he got his legs back. I remember Roy Jones laughing and making fun of Wlad because he was hurt by a stiff jab, after that he said "He could never handle me in the ring with that kinda chin". I dont think Brewster should fight Wlad, he is a shell of his former self and would probably get beaten badly now. He recruited his trainer Buddy to help him avoid punches and not get into the wars he's so used to, Brewster is not a boxer, he's a fighter. Brewster should retire and be happy he was a exciting champion in a weak era, he did the best he can with what he had.
Klit has owned Brewster 97% of the time they have shared a ring. And even when Brewster had a defenseless, standing Wlad, he still couldn't put him down. Wlad-Brewster 3? No thanks.
