The fact that he had a 7-5 either way/6-6 w Loma, dominated Prograis, and weathered the storm vs Linares who, in a rematch, would lose even worse says a lot about Haney. I like Haney and also believe he's a top 5 fighter in any division he competes and if he moved to 147 he'd be a top guy there also. I also believe Haney will wait for Boots to move up before venturing into 147. After all, Haney is an intelligent fighter. . .
Lima from 126 to135 is a problem for everyone who ever existed in those weight divisions. I always said I would favor him over Pernell by SD at 135

He has been continually improving imo and the last fight was really a master class. If you're a fan of boxing there's no reason to deny this, but most here are fans of Loma and not boxing as such. And for some reason, hating on Haney makes Loma greater?

No...... If we're going off "eye test" fundamentals, athleticism.....etc Ennis is in that class. Like I stated if Crawford vs Canelo were in the same class, I would favor Crawford due to Crawford being more skilled. Haney vs Crawford would be interesting. Right now, I favor Crawford by decision but it wouldn't be a beat down.
I think Loma esges ot due to higher output but Loma gave up on the 12th so a draw would've been appropriate
It was a close fight and no problem with thinking Loma deserved it. And even if you think he was robbed, that's not on Haney. So the hate against him is a bit dysfunctional.

But if he beats Lopez and Matias weighing in at 165+ and has 10lbs+ on both of them, you know full well there would be questions about whether it's his skills or his size that was responsible - and it wouldn't be unreasonable to ask that question, surely?
