I don't have high expectations about Pacman because i believe since before that Marquez is his kryptonite and not Floyd. According to Coach Nacho during the 24/7, he always tell his legions that there'll come a time that you will meet someone who is better than you. Yet i am convinced in the latest fight that Marquez was an inch shorter to topple the Pacman. If you watch the fight by assuming that you don't know the past histories between Pacman and Marquez, you will see that the Marquez did not do enough to win the fight.

Despite the result and the crazy analysis of some pretenders here, I would like to emphasize that I enjoyed the fight. It was not really boring and not as disappointing as the sucker punch of Floyd.

Did you enjoy the fight as a boxing enthusiast? Please share your thoughts.

When you got a small southpaw and a similiar sized or larger counterpuncher fighting, it has strong potential to become a boring fight.

It's remarkable that Pac manages to turn most of his fights exciting.

It was definitely a tense fight. I enjoyed seeing the performances themselves, though.

I am glad you enjoyed the fight but why throw "shots" at Floyd while making your point. The fact is Pac didn't show up and has proven that he can not easily beat a true boxer ie (Morales, Marquez).

It was a good fight better than I thought it would be Marquez schooled Pac throughout the night but Pac was able to land some quick flurries that didn't do any damage that could of caught the eye of the judges etc but Marquez made Pac look real bad last night and to me that was good for boxing.

I think it was as good as the first two. It looks not as good because everyone used to seeing the Pacman beating bigger opponents in a devastating fashion. For me, I enjoyed the fight. In fact I assumed a lost for the Pacman in my mind. But Marquez was hesistant to pursue more.

I was entertained! Much better than other recent 'high profile' 2011 fights like Mayweather/Ortiz or Hopkins/Dawson.

I thought it was a great fight, a masterclass of boxing and counterpunching and movement, staying out of harms way and making your man pay. The decision though, disgusting. I feel really bad for JMM, he's a better fighter than Pac, but yet he gets no credit for it.

Okay, my point of including Floyd is that most people here analyzes the result more on comparing the performances. A lot of topics which implies as if Floyd wins the fight last night. That should not be the case if you are into boxing. This inclusion is just a response that there are other aspects that are more important to look into.

In your 2nd paragraph, I agree that Marquez made the Pacman look real bad especially that he is holding the P4P kingship. That was really bad for him though he at least won.

I loved the fight itself, but a fight isnt as enjoyable when your left with a sour taste.

pac fans wont like it because marquez schooled him

marquez fans wont like it cos he got robbed

Its just a shame it happened so soon after the passing of Frazier

I think Marquez fell short. He successfully nullified the Pacman in most cases but he did not do enough to win. If you are expecting a KO win from Pacman, then you will be disgusted with the result.

would have been better if they traded punches more. Can't be compared to the 1st 2 fights.
