I understand how Floyd would and should be favored against manny but it amazes me that some people think itd be a walk in the park for Floyd. Marquez is willing to walk through the fire to get to manny i doubt floyd is. Many people that do think manny would beat floyd say its because hes a volume puncher with good stamina. If manny thinks he can go into the fight with floyd and just over whelm him with punch output i think thats a huge mistake. What will beat floyd is a fighter with a strong jab and power with the ability to body punch. The fighter would have to be patient and not lose his head in the ring trying to hit floyd with power punches. he would have to methodically pound floyd with jab after jab after jab and timely body shots for 8 rounds and hope those 37 year old legs start to give late and thats when you cut off the ring and go for the finish. the only guy i see with the patience,skills and discipline to do that is Lara. I dont think manny can do that because thats not mannys style. i dont believe he has the patience to jab for such a big part of a fight. A good strong fast jab neutralizes floyds style. just look at what oscar was able to do in spurts against floyd.
