The dude never backs down from a challenge. Fights the best. Puts us in the ****ing seats, makes us buy his ppv's, is humble... I mean WTF! SOLD OUT GARDEN!! NOT PPV!!! :happy How fun would it be to watch him if he wasn't vulnerable??? ESB is really disappointing me if the reactions I seen this morning. :-( To me, the ones complaining don't have a life and want the sport to die. It was a great fight with lots of drama and huge for the sport.
your spot on mate.i cant believe people are hating on cotto after pulling out a great win against a very good opponent.its getting bad when people ***** about a low blow(wasnt low imo)and a rabbit punch that clottey turned into.cotto showed fighters spirit last night to win and im dissapointed with some of the views people have of the fight
throw back fight. The crowd and atmosphere was great... Still doesn't top the Zudah fight but I mean it was great. Worth every $250 I paid for my floor seat... Who the **** gets a floor seat for $250 and gets that top of elite action? I don't know about you guys but whether or not Cotto fights Pac or Gayweather theres no way in hell I will not root for him.
**** yea... been to Clottey, Margo, Mosley, Judah, Quintana and Torres fights. Probably the second best to the Judah fight in terms of atmosphere. **** man... impressive resume for Cotto when its on paper.
Anyone who wasn't impressed with the guts of Cotto last night isn't a boxing fan. He could have simply told the ref after he got cut that he couldn't see- which he ****ing couldn't- and the fight would have been ruled a no-contest. Instead, he fought the whole 12 and won.
I completely agree. He is a rareity in this day and age- doesn't care who, when or how he fights- he just tries to deal with a situation and win. He aint no cheat either- if he was a ***** he would have said he couldn't have seen out of his eye and had the fight stopped. Modern warrior. Then again, Cotto has a big following over here in the UK.
