exactly mayweather has more to lose than does pacman mayweather will not get as much credit if he beats pacman than pac will get if he beats mayweather sad but its true and if anyone disputes that they are stupid its just the way it is oh well too bad just hope its a badass fight whoever wins is the bette man

Floyd started out at 130, therefore, he has been moving up all the way up to 154. So what you are stating that a fighters greatness is determined by how many divisions he can move up and win titles. So Floyd has 5 and he beats the man that has won 7 dont mean anything? So lets just say he beats Mosely and Williams and retire. He wont be considered better because Pac won 7 titles. Bernard has the most middleweight title defenses. He holds that record, however, that does not mean if a fighter beats him with a similar record should be rated less than him. Like I stated before, it is all subjective anyway. The one thing that will matter is Floyd whipping his ass. That is all fans will remember.

not exactly right but moving up and beating bigger elite champions does help especially if people thinks its impossible for a certain fighter to do it. of course floyd beating pac would be a boost to his status and it would be the biggest accomplishment in the weight. but beating pacquiao does not end there and to prove his greatness even more. legacy is not a royal rumble type that if you are the lasted man standing you are the greatest. no it does not work that way. its a body of accomplishments. more people rate duran higher than sugar even if leonard has his number. its because duran was perceived to have achieved more.
