Regardless of your opinion on the decision, do you consider Haney a great fighter?

I personally had it a draw. If you put a gun to my head I would've given it to Loma (7-5). But, regardless of the results, how great of a fighter is Haney?

No he is 24 years old if he is supposed to be great he should've had no problems beating a 35 year old former featherweight who had the deck stacked heavily against him and still won the fight in the eyes of most experts.

Haney seems decent, but is nowhere near what I would call great for if he was he would've been able to beat Loma.

As far as the fight goes, its 8-4 in Loma's favor for me. I think he beat the crud out of Haney. Haney won the 3 early rounds and perhaps one of the mid rounds, but that's about it. Aside from that, Loma was winning in every other round and especially ripped Haney a new one in 10 and 11.

No and no one else should either

How could he be when he's literally never fought a single world champion remotely close to his own size?

Linares was old, shot, inactive and much lighter

Gamboa was even older (39) shot to hell and much smaller and lighter

Jojo was a career 126 pounder featherfist and way smaller and lighter

Both Gamboa and Jojo had only stopped 2 of their previous 12 opponents

Linares is the only puncher he's fought and as said that was an old, shot, inactive much lighter Linares

Haney had a near six inch reach advantage on Loma, six inches on Gamboa, and 7'' on Jojo

The only prime world champion he's ever fought who was a champion at 135 who was a champ at that weight is Kambosos and he was clearly just in the right place at the right place against the worst version of Teofimo whose personal life was in tatters and fought like a complete moron

He's a very good fighter but you have to prove greatness against prime world champions your size, bigger or way bigger

No. He's a very good fighter, but I don't think he's a special talent. I think Shakur and Tank will beat Haney

He has a natural style that gets himself in and out of trouble and ready to reset. In the mean time he throws shots that are more occasional than they should be. He doesn't throw with enough power or volume for me to consider him great atm. I'd love to be proven wrong.

We'll see. He's starting to pick up steam on the opponents that he's faced.

I think the zero power thing is going to stop him from being truly great, but you never know. All the greats had something they needed to overcome.

He's very overrated. LOMA had to overcome a lot .. Age, SIZE, REACH, CORRUPT OFFICIALS, dirty tactics from Haney all fight.

If Loma was 5 years younger, he would of demolished Haney. But it's ok, Shakur and Tank will avenge it.

This is the first time I've seen a full length fight from him and I'm not sure how much hype there is around him, if he's touted as the next big thing, I don't see that but I do think he can have a very good career.

Not yet though he could very well be on his way as an Undisputed champion before the age of 25

Whether you think he won or lost last night I thought he showed a great array of skills from punch variety to footwork to counter punching even though he did get tired I thought his conditioning was very good considering the amount of pressure that Loma applied in the pace that he sets and he was able to counteract the Angles and footwork from Loma for most of the fight

Some of the Loma fans making excuses about the decision and the age and other things I think are so blinded by their dislike for Haney that they're failing to give him credit for a very good performance even if he was to lose 115 113 on all three cards I think he proved that he's a high-level operator

Haney is a good fighter but nowhere near great. Very limited offense and no real power behind his punches. He is a big lightweight which has given him advantages. Average ring IQ.

I would love to see Tank get to him first because he will do Haney some serious damage
