If you look at his record, there was a period where he was stopped regularly. Then the rules were changed and, if you were stopped, there were mandatory 30 and 60 day medical suspensions and it became very rare for Reggie Strickland to be knocked out.
I saw him fight live a couple of times on the club circuit back in the day. He was a survivor.
