who gets the nod in this obscure long reginging lightly regarded champions....who where pretty good in there own right.....who god damn it who?
Tuur was a pretty ordinary fighter imo, just with speed and a certain awkwardness. Grigorian on the other hand looked a fine fighter to me, though injuries ruined his offense and saw him decline quite quickly.Tough to say how good he really was, considering the low level of his opposition, but i'd feel comfortable picking him here.
thanks for replying. i like both in a weird way but tuur's style is something i appeal to. high guard, fast hands, combinations and a solid jab with power on all punches. but yeah i can understand about him being relatively ordinary. grigorian isn't underrated but he was a solid tough fighter for the division, a fine addition. just to me seems too static and open. i think he could get outboxed. but he is also much bigger.
i don't know if that makes him stand out... but i know one thing. i saw one of his girlfriends on tv just after she got beat up by him.. and giving your wife a slap or beaten her up is a difference and she was beaten up totally.. so to me that shows that Tuur is A: a big mother****er and B: basically a coward.
