Morrison wasn't televised, and until he is, and with a live body in the opposite corner, I refuse to start taking him the least bit seriously just because of whose son he is. He's some random unproven American prospect (that hasn't done anything to be heard of thus far, on merit) as far as I'm concerned.

 

Perfect timing with the conclusion of the ESPN main event.

 

Round 1

Lewis is swinging his left by his waist and sagging at the knees, giving himself a little bounce to spring-load his jabs stepping in. Fa sidesteps the jabs or catches them on his goalposts and counters with straight rights down the pipe. Lewis catches Fa into clinches as he falls in with the right hands. Fa is calmly stalking and picking his spots.

I guess. I honestly don't think I've seen anything of him since a couple of years ago (fan recorded video from ringside) when he was very raw. It just smacks of nepotism...unlike, say, DDLH who is legitimately talented and hasn't really benefited from Oscar being his relative in the least (and in fact has a very cold & distant relationship with the Golden Boy) and has needed to make his own way.

 

Round 2

Lewis is jabbing into the guard and collapsing against Fa, hugging with the left hand around the New Zealander's torso and lapping softly at the neck and head with his right hand thrown blindly. Fa is lining up Lewis for a 1-2 and is just a half-beat too slow to land it before Lewis ducks in and encircles him with both arms, every single time. Occasionally the 1-2 scrapes the nape of Lewis' neck as he's diving. Both slap each other's flanks in the clinch until forced to break. This is gross.
