Yes well you know Pauline Ms thoughts on this and I’m inclined to agree that all this is possible due to PEDs.

Depends on the fighter he is talking about
If it's pacq he is a ped abuser
If it's Floyd he's never juiced contrary to other evidence
    But that's a different debate

I once asked the same question on here and someone replied “think in terms of a dried up grape” lol.All water weight in other words, having see various vids on MMA guys cutting weight there’s no doubt in my mind something should be put in place to stop the really extreme stuff.
Bud Crawford for example was cutting so much weight it was scary.

FYI — The IBF made the incredibly dubious decision of eliminating the 2nd day weigh in... for championship fights.

No, for unification or unified fights only.
They did that to stop handicapping the IBF beltholder, because the other guy could just ignore it while he had to comply to keep his belt. Created an unfair loophole for the challenger.

    Same day weigh ins!

It would change the sport, and make for more level playing field. Canelo would never fight at MW and be a LHW.

Should be limits, say 10 pounds max, but it NEEDS to be sanctioned by the ABC or state commission. None of this boxer asking for a clause crap.

I think a percentage would make the most sense

No reason for it...the weight cut/safety/rehydration issues could be solved easily, do same day weigh ins. It would put an emphasis on making a healthy weight, in a healthy manner, those who chose to push the envelope would pay the price in the ring.

If you make weight, then you make weight

No matter what happens you will always see people crying about size differences.

P4P is a sack of **** imo, absolutely worthless

Heavyweights are the best fighters on the planet end of

I am actually more in favour of abolishing the scales and having these ATG dwarfs fighting a heavyweight bum like Deontay!!!

I mean if Crawford, Loma or GGG etc are so great and Deontay as so terrible, then surely they should win shouldn't they?

Price paid in ultimate scenario is death, that scenario is not going to do much good for boxing.

I guess the rehydration issue could be answered in same way many members here look on PEDs in boxing (which i don't), allow it as everyone is doing it.

I just see a big court case occurring if rehydrating limits are set and someone died, and they were found at post mortem to have been dehydrated.

However my own personal opinion without considering any of the above, is every boxer has personal responsibility for their own body so there should be same day weigh ins, if a fighter is hurt or worse because of not being hydrated etc to make weight, then that is their own fault.
