The funny thing is not even Arum is blaming Mayweather for this stunt.

"I am not going to allow my fighter (Pacquiao) to be deprived of revenue because of some nonsense that Schaefer has schemed up. I don’t think Mayweather is a part of this. Maybe there’s some side deal or something like that. It smells. At least go there and give the man (Jones) some respect. Isn’t that logical? "

Any talk of having the fight in New-York?

Arum might be wrong. the duckweather we all know so well might very well be behind this decoy smokescreen of a way to dodge Pacquiao.

    let's hope not.

Roach called this a "Vegas fight." Bobby Greedy is the center of the Universe. Arum is the only key player who wants the fight in Texas. Everyone should be ashamed of themselves for wanting something other than what Bob 'Give Me All The Money' Arum wants.

Arum may be full of ****. He may be the one trying to duck Pacquiao out of the fight. The article said nothing about Mayweather rejecting the site.

How do we know something fishy is going on? Oh, becasue Arum says so. Well that settles it because we all know we can trust and believe every word that comes out of Arum's mouth.

There's an excellent article on Max.box.ing on why is should not be in Vegas. Pretty good read with very good reasons. If this truly is a super fight, have it someplace where it's a major event, not just another fight in Vegas.

To someone who embraces deviance, i'm sure Texas is boring.

And yes...Killeen is rather boring. But San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston...man all three of those cities are awesome...especially San Antonio...greatest place on Earth!!

Home of the San Antonio Spurs!!

That's out of context, moron...pac loves fighting in Texas. I met Arum in San Antonio and he loves it here...Pac has a lot of fans in San Antonio and pulled in over 15K in the Alamodome just fighting Jorge Solis.

Said it before, Vegas can offer what no other city can:

    • Attract high roller gamblers who will gamble in the sports books & tables before AND after the fight
    • Multiple CCTV locations with 5k-10k capacities EACH where they can charge full PPV prices PER ticket
    • More hotels in the immediate area, meaning more rooms to accommodate more people for the weekend of the fight
If anything, I'd just want the fight to happen where CCTV is offered AND where sports betting is legal.
