Vegas caters to the gamblers and the casino/hotels guests, not boxing fans. The general public doesn't get many tickets, and what they do get is very pricey. Vegas offers nothing new nor can they even secure a venue large enough for what this fight potentially can sell.
The fight should be on Floyd's terms if Manny wants the fight. Have it in Vegas, and a limit of 147 with no stipulations. No catch-weight bull****. Vegas IS the place for big fights, and it's where the fight SHOULD be.
Again I would like for the fight to happen in vegas, but from a business standpoint, it makes no sense to cancel the trip to Dallas...even if, in the end, they decide Vegas is the place. The trip is a chance for them to see how much Jones would offer. Vegas would have to match, if not come close to, that offer. Schaefer knows this. There's something going on behind the scenes.
