No-ones mentioned it yet but how would people feel about a rematch?

I doubt either fighter wants it. Hopkins doesn't need it and Joe's looking to improve his legacy. Neither have enough time left in their careers to make it worthwhile.

From a promoters point of view, there's little point also. They struggled to sell out this fight, it was non PPV and it was hardly the kind of fight to attract new fans. I'd be surprised if any parties call for it before looking at all the other options.

Calzaghe Jones is a joke fight. Jones was knocked out by Tarver & Johnson over 3 years ago.

No thanks, I hope Bhops retires now. Never seen him in an exciting fight against a similar opponent (apart from when RJJ beat him). The only good fights were against blown up lightweights.

    true.

he was beaten by those 2.

but he's won 3 fights since then.

    against admittedly sub-par opposition.

tarver and dawson are fighting each other on showtime.

    that leaves pavlik and johnson.

not an awful lot out there for joe.

So if he becomes the third man to knock out a past it Jones is he a "legend killer"?

Pavlik fight would have to be at SMW and Johnson does not even figure on anyones plans (although it would be a good fight).

No only Danny Williams can be the legend killer.

Nah no need. The right man won, and it wasnt that good to watch anyway.

imk hoping Joe will get to fight a Daswon.Tarver or Pavlik. He beats RJJ easy imo.

if they rematch then joe should make him come to wales,i think he'd win a bit more comfortably at home.

i'm a massive joe fan and i'm well glad he beat b-pops last night. The only thing is though i dont think he'll beat RJJ easily though, it'll be the same as last night if anything, but without the ridiculouse acting by that old c**t
