    That is truly insane, BTW!

He faced his average opponent by a factor greater than 2x! That's just mind-boggling, utterly fascinating stuff.

And if you removed Tunney from the equation, he'd be 134-9-11.

How many guys in recent years can you think of that had 3 or more trilogies? :think

I think Pac and Morales both had 2 such instances (including their own)...

And I'm drawing a blank beyond the addition of Holyfield, who I also think had 2.

El Magnifico was a terrific recent fighter with just two and combined they effectively ruined him and contributed to not only his prime but his career being over by the age of thirty (Larios & Márquez).

Greb had 2.4x as many rematches - at 158 - as modern era iron man Bernard Hopkins did times he fought, period (66).

    Clay/Ali:

    11-0 (5)

Henry Cooper - WTKO6 in the rematch.
Sonny Liston - WKO1 in the rematch. (legit, STFU about it)
Floyd Patterson - WRTD7 in the rematch.
George Chuvalo - WUD12 in the rematch.
Jerry Quarry - WTKO7 in the rematch.
Joe Frazier - WUD12 in the rematch, WRTD14 in the rubber match.
Joe Bugner - WUD15 in the rematch.
Ken Norton - WSD12 in the rematch, WUD15 in the rubber match.
Leon Spinks - WUD15 in the rematch.

That's actually fantastic. Nothing but high quality there. He ought to be on the poll.
