    Henry Maske:

    2-0

    Graciano Rocchigiani WUD12 in the rematch.
    Virgil Hill - WUD12 in the rematch.

    Flawless. :smoke

    One victim in the IBHOF, and the other, while unlikely to ever get in (or even be on the bubble) still a respected 2-division titlist nonetheless.

    Maske is clearly zee rematch GOAT. Wunderbar!

    Just a word of disclaimer/explanation on a couple of things:

    I'm using the phrase "rubber match" loosely to connote a third meeting between rivals. Typically rubber matches are understood to be "tie breakers" when two competitors are deadlocked at 1-1 (or even if there was a draw in either of the first two meetings, leaving need for "closure" even though one may have the edge at 1-0-1) and that is how the phrase is meant to be used. In colloquial use, however, it applies more broadly to any third chapter, and that's how I have been using it here.

    Also, in the case of some older records where the result is given as "PTS" but no specifics are given, I have defaulted to considering them 'unanimous decisions' for wont of any reason to suppose otherwise. Some of these may have been referee decisions or judge/referee hybrids, as different formats have been used in different parts of the world at different times.

    Les Darcy:

    * Bob Whitelaw x1
    * Billy McNabb x1

    By my count, that's 9-1 in rematches. Darcy defeated every man he faced at least once during his career.
