What a great finish. Now that Chavez knows he can hurt Martinez, what happens in the rematch? If Chavez comes to fight early can he finish what he started in round 12?

Let Martinez unify with Geal and let JccJr earn his remach by going against GGG.

Chavez' eye swole shut during that interview. He will be an even shittier MW if he doesn't move up, a catch weight would be nice.

Chavez now knows that he can catch and hurt a nearly exhausted Martinez in the 12th round. Sounds like a winning strategy.

Yeah like it took Junior eleven rounds before he remembered he was supposed to punch, and gee, if he only remembers that from the start then he'd be sure to win next time. Dur dur dur hur.

    Martinez, and maybe by ko.

Yes chavez would have a chance of stoppage if he opened up more. But he'd also eat alot more cleaner shots, especially if he opened up in the early rounds.

I believe martinez lost his cool and went gung ho for the KO in the last round which nearly cost him

Martinez was exhausted much earlier in the fight. It's not hard to dance around and throw punches when your not getting hit. I think if Chavez came on strong in round 7-8 he may be able to pull this off.

I hope the rematch happens. I think it would be a different fight.

Martinez takes it again. He would realize that he should have taken a couple of rounds off so as to not be so gassed and allow himself to get hit on the ropes in 12th. Considering he was pitching a shut out a couple of mid rounds off wouldn't have hurt him in the slightest.

    Chavez.
He's found the weakness. When this happens it's over.
