Sergio again with two different possibilities... 1) Jr. fights the same fight- Sergio takes a couple of rounds off to stay fresher in the 11th and 12th to win another decision 2) Jr. goes in swinging early, Sergio makes him miss, Jr gets tired in the 7th and KO'd in the 8th.
Chavez is straight up garbage. He's a hack that's ony where he is due to his name. If he stays at MW. Which he shouldn't. But if he does, he should move to the back of the line like everyone else. Macklin and Barker deserve rematches before Chavez does. They actually were capable of putting up a fight for more than one ****in punch.
As much as I dont like these Sergio fanboys licking his sweaty nutsack last night, props to the Maravilla for his job well done. A fighter with fast feet, fast hands and great stamina would always trouble Chavez. Roach even said he would stop the fight in the (10th?) and Chavez just got lucky in the 12th. If there's any rematch, which is highly likely to be there due to high ppv and is such a good fight, Maravilla will soon TKO Chavez, unless Chavez improves his very ****ing slow jab and gets to learn how to cut off his opponent. Well IMO all Roach's fighters needs those 2 things.
Sergio does the same thing, only the second time he wont get careless. Complete wipe-out by Sergio, and would probably stop him late, as he would apply more pressure, not allowing Chavez to breath.
If Chavez Jr opens up earlier he will get knocked out. The only reason he survived was because he was so cagey. Martinez KO
everytime chavez opens his slow ass jab, he gets countered. he's afraid to open up. or he gets popped. chavez could even cut off sergio coz sergio's feet is too ****ing damn fast against a turtle.
I'm not sure why the need to catagorically dismiss Chavez, he was obviously nervous, the stage was a bit large for him, but as the fight went on he had some success and had he laid his balls out and went for it earlier who knows what would have happened. All credit to Martinez he won and did it how a great fighter should, but it's hardly a forgone conclusion how a second fight would go.
He found the weakness? Its boxing genius and Chavez just hit Martinez with a good puch. In a rematch, which will happen, Martinez will still win by a wide UD. No way Martinez is going to KO Chavez as Chavez is too big to KO at MW. Martinez doesn't have that many other This content is protected options. Its either Mayweather/Cotto/Canelo @154 or Ward @168. Ward won't go down to 160 and Martinez won't go up to 168lbs. Cotto or Mayweather will more than likely fight Canelo next and neither is willing to fight Martinez. So yes, this rematch is happening because it can sell and it will sell.
