Lewis weighed only 3-5 lbs more for Vitali than he did 6 months previous vs Tyson. And anyone who knows Lewis knows the man changes pace and style depending on who he's fighting.
Clearly he was fighting fleet of foot vs Tyson. At times, even spinning his wheels, but when he starts finding Mike, frustrating Mike, he gets more fluid, and his footwork is really going.
When Lewis is fighting Vitali, he changes his style to better suit him for Vitali. Yeah, he was 5 lbs heavier, but he wasn't shot, he couldv'e fought on, and he'd likely to have lost had the cuts not occured or had a rematch gone down........but he didn't leave because he was shot, scared, whatever.......he left because he was finished with the sport. He'd seen Tyson's descent, Ali's descent, and Holmes being destroyed by the new blood. Gotta say, even at 37, it was perfect timing.

Sux for us K2 fans, and wathcing him vs wlad, or Vitali2 would've been pivotal for his legacy, but if he had lost both, chances are he'd dropped 2-3 spots on most fans ATG list.
