Same Tyson ...same Douglas Wid Ty Ty problems ..he would still suffer the risk of being caned .. altho ..and this is gonna spark some debate ( i love debate) ..he did actually knock out Douglas in that fight .. ( the 15 sec count) conclusion ..Tyson 6th round KO
I believe if Tyson was mentally prepared for that fight he would have knocked Douglas out, but it´s still risky though, Douglas looked great that night.
I do agree my friend ..but a great Douglas and a 'good ' tyson still results in a Ko win for Tyson ...
If the same Buster shows up, the results are the same. For that one night, Douglas was one of the best HW's to ever set foot in a ring. I mean that. That Buster Douglas would have given Ali all he could handle, thats how great he fought that night. Big question is...could he ever produce a performance like that again??? :think
Well last time I checked a "good" Tyson got knocked out by a great Douglas Tyson has to be great to defeat the Douglas in Tokyo.
He was on Friday Night Fights a few weeks back and looked okay - certainly not fat. He was promoting a book on healthy eating I believe.
What did you miss round 6 or something? Anyway, that was not a good Tyson but an undertrained, underprepared version running on coke fumes and alcohol.
buster couldve beaten anyone that night, he looked like a man on a mission fightin for his dead moms and all.
i do agree with the consensus ..Buster was alive that night ..BUT!!! lets say the Tyson that destroyed Pinklon Thomas ..was in the ring that night in Tokyo ..Not sayin an easy win but a win all the same
