Calderon was still the favorite over Segura in their first fight, but after that one, I think it became clear Segura would do the same in the rematch. So I don't think it applies since Segura became the favorite after their first bout (and he was the consensus #1 contender anyways to Calderon's status in the division).
Nelson-Fenech comes to mind. Most thought Nelson was too old and done by then, but that's when he cemented his rep of doing much better in rematches. I think alot of people really did think Tyson had an off night against The Real Deal the first time. I remember most thought Tyson would set the record straight the 2nd time. The Oscar-Mosley rematch I think most thought Mosley would edge it, and in the judges scorecards he did, tho most thought Oscar edged that one.
Espinoza vs Cobrita Gonzales 2 Espinoza got revenge in the rematch he literally put Gonzales on a stretcher. Pacquiao vs Marquez 2,3,4. l0l. Marquez got revenge. He was getting robbed by Pac in all their fights. The fourth fight was epic they came for WAR and Marquez put Pac in a miñi coma.:bbb
I suppose Terry Norris would come in Here... Two Upset Losses to Luis Santana (by DQ) Then Upset by Simon Brown... But wins the Rematch
