    I’m guessing Larry Holmes-Mike Weaver II (1979 and 1999) is the record.

    Larry also fought Bonecrusher in 1984 and 2000.

    Agreed. First fight was a boxing masterpiece by Davila.
    The rematch was an amazing fight with lots of high drama. Just a shame that the fight had to end badly for Davila. I still don't understand why they called it a TKO when the cut was caused by a headbutt (if my memory serves me well).
