Are you comparing JMM to Amir Khan?

Hate to seem like I'm defending that fight but the circumstances have some key differences. JMM was in everyone's p4p list back then and Mayweather was coming back from another long lay off.

Amir Khan is title-less at his current weight and is yet to have an real success there and is now moving up two divisions. Oh, and he's Amir Khan. Who nobody rates outside of his own family. Who incidentally also know he has no chance of winning this fight.

And for the record: JMM ****s all over Amir Khan. JMM is one of the greatest Mexican boxers in history. Khan is a foot note in boxing history, at best.
