i can already see it if wlad manages to beat sultan, this place will be flooded with posts about how wlad is the greatest thing since sliced bread and magnum condoms.

If WALD defeats Sultan tonight, not only will he go down as the greatest heavyweight of all time, but as an athletic God, who is absolutely indestructible. :deal

Wlad doesn't have the oppurtunity to be an ATG because the HW division is poor.

It definitely wouldn't make him an ATG, agreed. But it would make him the man in the heavyweight division and the guy the public could identify with as the true heavyweight champion.

do you remember after his last fight against brewster?

2 mins after the stoppage there were threads about him being an ATG, most of them were started by that clown evisceration.

Obviously, Wlad still has ways to go to be considered an ATG, every great fighter has beat at least one other great fighter to get them the ATG nod, Wlad has not done that yet. He seems to be in a bad era like Holmes was, so I guess Wlad needs to hold the belt for another 5 years before he's considered anywhere near the top 15.

And if he loses, it doesn't make him the most pathetic joke of a boxer to ever lace on a pair of gloves, either.

I have seen all of Vlad's fights. Take a look at them to realize how good he really is.
