That would make more sense, as suddenly becoming totally exhausted might be more realistically attributable to the serious heart problems he was having, such as the collapsed left-ventricle against Moorer.

Some of the Sky pundits said he would get knocked out in 2 rounds against Tyson, I think Barry McGuigan said that.

Irony is, we got all these stories about how shot Mike was when he lost to Holy, but Holy was 34, had looked like a shot fighter in his fights with Moorer, Bowe 3, and had been in a lot more wars than Tyson, yet we are supposed to believe Mike Tyson was more diminished cause he got an ass whoopin!

blame the new age of fan man. the internet gives anyone with an opinion an outlet to vent their opinions, and since many of these assholes are losers they like to take out their frustrations trying to put other more successful guys down as if it will make up for their own miserable existence. of course you have your good number of racially motivated haters doing this aswell. Holy-Tyson, Calzaghe-Lacy, Pac-De La Hoya, Hopkins-Trinidad, all these great upsets get discredited and great performances torn down by these dickheads, most of whom would never have picked em before the fight.

It would be a huge upset if mosley beat pacquaio. I saw that 3rd fight and holyfield just look like he ran out of gas and just wasn't 100% in that fight. If he would have been 100% he would have finished bowe when he knocked him down.

Anyways if mosley is to beat pacquiao if would be a bigger upset just because mosley is almost 40 where holyfield was still close to his prime when he fought tyson.

so your saying if Mosley upsets Pac, would it be like holyfield upsetting tyson after being tkoed by bowe?in terms of accomplishment, yes but is it possible? the circumstances are different. while holyfield was past his prime when he beat tyson, but tyson was as well. both men has seen better days.

mosley however is past his prime fighting a guy in pac, who is at his peak. its not going to be pretty for mosely. you saw how bad mosley looked in there will mayweather, its going to be worse with pac.

  6. Barry McGuigen is no loser with an opinion on the internet.

  7. My Dad sparred heavily with Riddick Bowe before the second Holyfield fight. Dad came home nearly every day during that time remarking on just how out of shape and tired Bowe was. Then he came in 20 pounds heavier than the first fight and got outworked by Holyfield in a war. The fan-man benefited (and stopped the momentum) of both fighters.

i was referring to the second part of that post about how tyson was suddenly seen as the shot fighter, and holyfield's win degraded when he himself was seen as shot and given no chance before the fight. i'm sure mcguigan rates holy's win right up there as one of the best he;s seen if he had written holy off predicting a 2nd round ko loss.

well you know how it is when it come to revisionist history but the fact is neither man was in peak form. holyfield was past more physically but had skills to rely on while tyson had become a fighter trying to blow out guys with one shot. it would have been nice too see both men fight in their prime.
