Read the thread on Pac-DLH where there were similar predictions of me foolishly losing.

Now I will place another $500 on the Hatton-Pacquiao fight.

This time it will be for a Hatton stoppage of Pacquiao in rounds 7, 8 or 9. Pac's corner will not allow him out for the next round. It will be a great fight...an all time classic...but Pac will receive a beating. Follow his thread and watch the results.

You made a great call on the first one... I think I might put some on Hatton as well.

How do you reconcile the Lazcano debacle on your betting mind? Hatton was saved and was queueing the ref when to break and when not to, and still had to be saved at home with shoelace nonsense. HE won't be controlling the ref or getting free breaks and Manny Pacquiao is a helluva lot better than Juan Lazcano.

Anyways, could to see you man up. I also will be manning up and betting heavy - on Pacquiao to win. Probably something on the KO as well since I feel it will be Manny by KO, and I feel it very strongly.

Also, you ought to check my thread. I am on quite a roll. I don't know anybody else that is, but then again, nobody in here documents there bets really, accept the "I told you so" folks that make threads after the fact.

For the record though, I thought DLH would beat Manny, but I stayed away from that one betting wise.

Pull it back while you can, or make a counter bet to it! What you've done is suicide. :hat

Atlas picked Hatton, too, so things can't possibly get jinxed up, right? ;)

-225 for Hatton at the Palms. Look for this to go up as people pour money in on Pac.

I think Hatton at 140 is a no brainer. I think its a solid bet.

Pacquiao's biggest problem in the past was with Marquez. If you will recall Morales's first fight with Pacquiao, surprisingly he changed his style to emulate Marquez. We all saw the end result. Pacquiao is vulnerable to a counter-puncher, but as yet I have not seen Hatton perform in that manner nor do I believe that he can change his style for one fight. There is no reason to believe that Hatton could dominate an opponent who has equal skills and more speed. In may view either man could win albeit I give the advantage to Pacquiao. You sir are just gambling.

Yeah, I believe Hatton will be too strong for Pac too. To me Pac is still unproven against the elite at 140-147. His win over De La Hoya, great as it was, was against a severely weakened welterweight. Ricky Hatton is a monster at 140 and I feel he may overwhelm Pac and give him one hell of a beating, forcing a stoppage around the mid-late rounds. If Pac does pull it out it will be something special, and will cement his legacy as best of his generation (unleast until Mayweather gets in the ring with him).
