Head to head and nose to nose the stronger man wins this one. It may be tactical for part of the first round and then it is a war. Pac may try to adjust and box but that isn't what he's about. Either way Hatton will be too strong and relentless.
    My bet stands.

Hatton is easily the value bet in this fight. From bodog:

2 May 2009 - The MGM Grand in Las Vegas
    ~ Light welterweight Bout ~

    Both must fight for action
    Manny Pacquiao
    -275

    Ricky Hatton
    +215

Ricky Hatton by KO, TKO, or DQ
    3/1

    Ricky Hatton by Decision
    5/1

Nice odds, especially Hatton by decision, which isn't at all out of the realm of possibility...

If you're going to bet on this fight, I think there's only two bets that make sense:

    1. That Hatton wins - this one makes by far the best sense at the odds, imo
    2. That the fight will not go 12 full rounds

...the odds for all the other options are just not good enough.

Hatton for me is the ever so slight favourite...but, frankly, this is pretty much a 50/50 fight...imo.

Are you saying that because you won in your last bet then you are sure to win in your next bet? :huh

When was the last time Hatton "put a beating" on anyone? Aside from Mrs. Pauile Mallinaggi.

I'm piling on at 11/5 for a hatton win... will do some round bets aswell for a bit of interest.
11/5 is too big to pass up on a fighter who is unbeaten at the weight against an opponent who has never fought at 140.
there is no value on pac at around 1/2.

I agree totally that Hatton will be too strong for Manny at the weight. As this matchup seems to be pretty even in the majority of peoples opinion then being offered 7/2 for Hatton to stop Pac seems to good to miss. I just put £300 on a Hatton stoppage win...
