Aside from that one fight, mighty impressive win over Porter, Brooks' entire career has been disappointing (young prospect to contender and then sat at that level without ever testing himself for years then in the short time since the Porter fight retreating to classic titleholder irrelevance).

 

Through no fault of his own.

Bundu, Khan, Bradley, Porter, Alexander, Ali was all offered final eliminators and all took easier fights than Brook.

Also fights offered to Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez, Garcia, Maidana, Rios, Bradley, Khan, and more and all turned down by them. Not Brook.

I remember this guy... The guy who is struggling to sell out his next fight in his home town....

The guy who has 1 decent name on his resume.

The guy who will vacate his belt or move up to 154 instead of fighting Spence when he becomes mandatory.

The guy who in a 10 year career has only tested himself once.

The guy has unreal talent and could be a real force. Unfortunately his lack of ambition for the big fights will make him just a belt holder.

Time he stops keeping the IBF belt hostage and makes himself relevant.

Needs to stop stalking Khan, and chase Garcia or Bradley
