Does any one remember Paul the yorkshire hunter Ingle who sadley got a blood clot in he's 2nd defense of the IBF featherweight title vs Mbulelo Botile . before that fatefull match he was looking really impressive with wins over Manuel medina and Junior Jones which he showed great heart and aggresion in, he's only loss before the Botile fight was against a prime Prince Naseem L tko 11 . its such a shame he's career was cut short as he was really gathering momentum. has any one read how he is doing nowdays as the last time i heard about him was 3 months after the fight , and he was still on the road to recovery

He was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery to remove a blood clot from the brain. He remained in intensive care for several weeks following his surgery.

Ingle made a slow but largely successful recovery, he now advises boxers in his hometown of Scarborough.

    From wikipedia.

Believe a lot of money was raised for him that night in scarborough, with boxers like Benn, Collins, McMillan an even junior witter showing up to pay their respects...
I remember going to his first British Title defence after beating McMillan to win the title, a proper true gritty british battler!!?

Botile was never the same after that fight either.

He had just captured his second world title in a second weight division, and his only loss in twenty-something fights had come against the outstanding Tim Austin.

He was all set for a lengthy and successful career at world level; looking past the tragedy for a second, Botile was fantastic in that fight (he really looked P-4-P material).

But what happened next: BANG, BANG, BANG; three straight losses against less than stellar opposition, and its career over; he hasn't fought since.

The whole thing with Ingle must have really mentally messed him up.

I think any human with compassion would suffer a similar fate. You only have to look at Eubank.

    I remeber Ingle well

He came up knocked out Colin Mcmillnan in 8 rounds

    he own whippets and ferrets

and he was a all action non stiop puncher

he had a miltary type training regime with his bald headed trainer

was nearly blown away early by Naseem Hamed but held on bravely to the later rounds

had a tiring Naz in trouble before fallling victim to a lethal sucker puncher
