Froch always had that mad look that had me believing and I'm not giving up on him tomorrow based on Ward butting Kessler to death.

Cobra's gonna knock this ****er out! :happy

People totally overreacted to that, as if it was unheard of for an up & comer to challenge the champ... :scaredas:

Exactly he was calling out the biggest name in his division, tryin to get his name out there. The fact that most assumed joe was simply far too good and it was insulting for carl to call him out is both shamefull and wrong

Cazlaghe retired just as I was ready to see my first fight which happened to be Froch vs Pascal. It was a fantastic fight and made me a believer in Froch as Calzaghes' natural successor. Froch has so far performed the task admirably albeit differently. I'm positive we haven't seen the best of him yet. I respect Froch as much as any man alive. If he puts everything he has into every round, he will win.

I thought he looked pretty good and would go far when I first saw him fight on the BBC, he was wearing some terrible grey tiger print shorts.

I knew that one flew over people's heads. :D

I'm a bit of a music and movie buff, so i like to make music and movie analogies.

In around 1966 Marvin Gaye released his first duet. It was 'it takes two' with Kim Weston. This song became a huge hit, so Motown wanted them to do more duets. The only problem being that Kim Weston had left Motown before the single was even released.

Motown then paired Marvin Gaye with a little known young singer called Tammi Terrell (Terrell had a rival called Valerie Simpson). Tammi and Marvin would go on to become a massive success together.

Just as they were beginning to do what would be their last ever album (easy). Tammi tragically gets a brain tumour and goes into a coma, without the album being completed.

Motown approach Tammi's early rival (they would go on to be friends) Valerie Simpson to fill in for the album. But they decide to not tell the public about it.

Valerie does a wonderful job of deceiving the public into thinking it's Tammi dueting with Marvin Gaye.

So a singer that no one rated proves to have such subtle craftyness and variety and in the end is DECEPTIVELY GOOD. And that's where Carl Froch comes in. lol
