Remember how after that fight Calzaghe continued to seek out the big names and top challengers from all over the world and compiled a really good resume, securing his legacy forever and ensuring that none of his fan boys have to dwell on 1 fight he had against some American hype job years ago? it sounds like you get off to this every night before you go to sleep. the sad thing is that this is one of joe's signature wins. lacy was the favorite because calzaghe had barely fought anyone with a pulse until that point.

 

I think this thread has struck a nerve.

People are getting really defensive about it.

 

One of the most one sided beatings in a Championship fight that I have ever seen. Calzaghe literally won every second of every round. Lacy's team should have pulled him out of there in the 9th round I know Calzaghe had hand issues and not much pop at that time but he was landing like 60 flush punches a round.

And yes I remember all the "Lacy KO 5" and the "Mini Mike Tyson" comments on here. :rofl:rofl

 

there is pretty much rigid **** talking for every fight. dont get the big deal. its boxing. its usually gonna happen between two fighters
