    if it happened its probably in retaliation from all of the guff that is given to african american fighters here...and dont act like that isnt rampant...im sure most of these guys genuinely respect kovalev...i know i do...

    im sure there are alot of fighters who have plenty of respect for golovkin....that doesnt mean i have to.....to a certain degree i have plenty of respect for golovkin too.....but he falls under my radar of questioning...kovalev does not.....

    There's also truth here, I've seen people call him all of that and of course KKKovalev ...

    Those people also hate Golovkin for what it's worth.

    yup....and most likely doing it to get under peoples skin because african american fighters like floyd and ward are bagged on a daily basis....i guarantee u most of them have genuine respect for kovalev

    I'm glad you respect Kovalev. I do wish that you wouldn't start GGG threads though, there are too many and few contain real news.

    If we are completely honest, there are clowns on both sides who will never give credit to a fighter of the wrong race. "Retaliation" is not a good reason either, retaliation or not it's still wrong. Besides, retaliation leads to the endless wars we have here.

    Just my two cents.

    I can think of at least two posters who don't, one calls him KKKovalev and the other Kan Krusher.

    Wouldn you agree that it doesn't make sense to retaliate on Kovalev because Floyd or Ward was bashed?

    Not really, those posters here seriously think that Kovalev ducked Stevenson. They don't just say it to retaliate they made threads and YT videos about that.

    i didnt say it was good or right...just said it most likely is why you get any hate on kovalev.....i guarantee those guys only do it for a rise....

    which is my point.....ggg should be universally loved....the hate is brought on by his fans, his trainer and his career choices......you dont see the same disdain for kovalev......its rare

    sometimes you have to fight fire with fire...its the internet....there are too many nameless, faceless, coward who will say anything because they dont have to look someone else in the eye when saying it...and there are no reprecussions...sometimes the only way to fight back on the net is to choose a fighter and do the same exact same thing to them that they do to other fighters...its sad...but it is what it is

    I'm not sold on that last guarantee, but if we can agree it's wrong than that's good enough for me.

    Re: GGG's career choices please see my assessment in my reply to drenlou earlier. Otherwise it's a valid point.

    GGG or his team can't make up for lost time for his Boxing career, but he's still young enough and active enough to put in the Work to get these higher profile fights Like Lara, like Jacobs ect. He's on a KO streak and his fights Are NOT THAT LONG ON average, but he needs to stop talking about it and be about it! Pursue these fights or shut up.

    He has to make concessions, he has no choice. These are what fighters do to reach superstardom. Canelo didn't get there the easy way. He had to put in the hard work and concede to fighters like Floyd and Cotto. GGG has to do the same.

    And if the Jacobs fight doesn't materialize why not make an offer to Lara? People want to see that fight. Nobody wants to see him fight Heiland or Lee.. It proves nothing.

    That I cannot agree with. It's tempting to fight back, I sympathize, but it's better not to even give trolls a reaction. They don't deserve it.

    Take me for example. Three of my favourite fighters are Kovalev, Ward and Golovkin.

    If someone bashes Ward, bashing Golovkin or Kovalev in return gets me nowhere as I like those two as well.
    If someone bashes Golovkin, bashing Ward in return also gets me nowhere as I like him as well.
