At least Ward had Oakland where he could sell tickets. I think Lacy was from Chicago and I don't remember him selling out any places or anything like that although I am not sure. You want to know why? OP and people like him fail to realize they stunt their fighters growth. These guys praise any mediocrity as greatness. They never push these fighters to do true great things and these passes and everything else they're given does not help their case and just sets them up for failure when it counts.

Lacy of course, way over rated but nothing crazy like the way tyson is over rated.

Calz ruined lacy that night, but lacy isn't far off the Tyson comparison. What's so different, every time either stepped up, they got destroyed.

Tough pill to swallow for many on here but the major difference between Tyson and lacy was the hype was on a different level with Tyson. The hype was such that Tyson could fight absolute nobody's and be praised for knocking out some F level fighters.

Tyson had mad skill that was negated by his mental midget interior. Tyson gets praised for accepting a beating, because he was unable to defend himself vs A level fighters.
