Exactly, people who take pride in something another man has achieved is stupid and foolish. Learn that race and nationalism has less to do with winning than environmental factors and work ethic.

It doesn't help that media like to use race (covertly and overtly) to keep people interested in sports, simply because it gives fans a easy connection to athletes. See its easier to root and support someone if all the criteria is skin color and nationalism, its harder to connect with an athlete if it was based on work ethic because most "fans" would realize how much of a bum/loser they are compared to someone who actually is trying to achieve in life, hence "fans" would rather live in ignorance based on race and nationalism.
