Ba ha ha ha! "The Crock" just got TKO'd by a fat, 40-year-old blown-up middle who was lighting Lennox's punching bag up like it was Christmas in July. I can't even remember that moron's name who used to run around here saying that Vitali was afraid of Rahman. Afraid of what? Growing Mt. Everest on Hasim's forehead after reigning down punches on him? Afraid of only destroying Rahman about 98% as badly as Lewis did in their rematch? Rahman: What a joke. NOBODY is scared of this guy, not even out-of-shape middles. Vitali would have completely obliterated Rahman in around 5 or less rounds. And now this latest disgrace by Mr. "Oleg sent me out the ring via KO." BWAHAHAHAHAH!
Fantastic stuff, phaion. This is how bad the Klit-haters used to be, trying to write rubbish-level essays about how Vitali was afraid of this joke. Thank you, Lennox Lewis. Thank you, Oleg Maskaev x2. Thank you, James Toney. I will always be glad that Has-been blew up Lennox Lewis, but to say that he could even dream of hanging with Vitali is to reveal oneself as either utterly ignorant of the sport or else just as a foolish hater grasping at straws. TKO'd by, and getting landed on at will from, fat 40 year old James Toney. BWAHAHAHAHAH!
Vitali wasn't afraid of Rahman. But Rahman did BEAT an out-of-shape Lennox Lewis, knocked him out with one punch, whereas Vitali failed despite wailing on him for about 6 rounds. Also, Vitali won his title by beating Corrie Sanders, a man Rahman had already knocked out. As far a championship contenders go, Rahman always was TOTAL CRAP, and that doesn't say much for Lennox Lewis. Still, Vitali's achievements aren't exactly impressive. An old washed-up Lewis ripped a hole in his face, and Vitali ended his career beating Danny Williams.
Bingo. People got on Vitali for quitting because of a torn rotator cuff when he was beating the **** out of Byrd. Has-been fights a fat, 40 year old middle and he quits after getting countered like an amateur after just 3 rounds. I will always be glad Rahman dropped Lewis, but he was never anything. The first Maskaev KO of The Crock is one of the greatest clips ever, of any sport.
I remember the lot of idiots who used to claim that. Pfffft, bunch of morons who draw deluded conclusions every time a fight is postponed. Vitali had his legitimate injuries which even forced him into his retirement and those constant haters would have u believe that Klitscko was actually afraid of that chinless punching bag, HA! Fortunately most of those guys were quieted the moment old man Maskaev knocked Rahman's block off.
Ha ha ha. No doubt! Remember all that total nonsense? I remember the one guy would write these HUGELY long essays trying to convince himself that Rahman had Vitali falling all over himself with fear. I think that same guy had to change his name after Wlad whupped Peter. What a goofball. Those were the days, my friend. :goodgood
Rahman didn't really quit he thought the result would be a no-contest and that they would rematch. If he knew it was gonna be ruled a TKO for Toney he would have told the doctor that the cut was fine.
Rahman is the definition of a Glass Jawed Joke. His chin is terrible. Vitali would KO him before the 5th round.
That was nothing but pure hate, even the haters themselves knew that if this fight happened Rahman would've been knocked out.
