True Vit was never scared of Rock....but that fat 40 yr old James is still a GREAT fighter in a weak era of Heavy weights, which is why a natrual MW is able to compete and beat the top HW's in the world. He may not beat the VERY best, but he'll give them trouble and you can't count him out due to that skill level.

Who? James? He beat Ruiz, Rock, Peter and Holy in the ring. On the cards is a bit different. He had that contrversy over the steriods showing up, he also had a decision that was pretty clear that he won against both Peter and Rock the first times and of course Holy. Which isn't bad nor isn't great, but one thing is consitant...he never gets blown out! and he is always competitive.

First of all, there was no controversy over the steroids as he got caught twice. Second of all, the only top fighter (if you can call him that at this stage) he beat was Holy, and I am not sure he was not on steroids then.

I agree he got caught twice with steriods....and? Steriods wont win you a fight when skills is what wins battles for the most part. Regardless of if you go by the whats on paper or if you saw the fiht and you know James beat Rock and Peter the first go rounds he still competed and did well. he wasn't blown out and he gave a great account for himself and his right to fight with the best at HW.

This thread is not on point.

The continuing decline of Rahman does nothing to prove whether or not VITKLIT used to be afraid of him.

One thing has nothing to do with the other. If James Toney's wife beats down Rahman, that won't mean VITALI always knew he could beat him...

...and? He is a cheat that should have been banned.

"Steriods wont win you a fight when skills is what wins battles for the most part." If they didn't athletes wound not have to risk their integrity to take them. Simple logic.

I did see the fight with both Rahman and Peter and while I had Toney winning the fight with Peter just by a slight margin, I had Rahman winning against Toney by a slight margin as well. DRAWS in both cases would not be controversial at all.

Finally, I would not be surpirsed if gets caught again using roids.

No use crying over spilled milk bro. He was banned, just not for life like you may have wanted. Deal with what is present. he's here and he's still a viable force at HW.

Athletes risk thier integrity for different reasons....so choose to use banned substances like many of the pro athletes today, but boxing isn't baseball or football or track. In boxing you skill is still you most effective and most important tool! Roids did **** for James and what was found in his system was a steriod athletes take for expediting recovery time off an injury.....he had the torn bicep and torn achilles tendon that required nanadrone shots.

I wouldn't doubt that he is caught with some banned substance in his system again either. I hope it won't happen but it's already happened twice. If he can stay healthy I doubt we see that again.

So baseball and football don't require skills anymore? Interesting. Steroids are taken to gain physical advantage over the opponent wether it is baseball, fotball, boxing or even golf for that matter. As far as Toney being a force in HW that is quite a wishfull thinking. Good luck with that.

Not that they don't require any skills....bc they do....It's just that these guys are not in a one on one sport where there are wieght classes. James...no matter how much Steroids he takes...won't make him a big enough puncher to affect any HW with one punch...it won't make him faster and it won't increase his stamina....at least not the steriods that were found in his system. There isn't anything "wishful" about TOney being a force in the HW division. James is just as big a force as Peter, Oleg, Rock, Haye, Seirgie, Ruiz, ect ect ect. Good luck with finding a logical thought.

Are you a steroid specialist, at least you are trying to sound like one? I am not. But LOGIC tells me that steroids are taken in order to make one either stronger, faster, have better stamina and endurance on so on, some of which are components of overall skillset of an athlete.

No...not at all, but I do know that the steriods found in the system of James toney (nandrolone) has been a common steriod used to promote the healing process for athletes for yrs, which is not like HGH or other steriods. Some forms of steriods do make you stronger faster but none help with your stamina. Steriods will increase your muscle fiber allowing you to gain mass. It definitly gives you an edge but it can also hinder your performance in certain sports.
